I’ve spent years exploring the South West and the Great Southern. It’s not uncommon for me to grab my sidekick, Shelby the Cavoodle, and head off from my home in Vasse for a day trip to Pemberton just for a pie, or down to Augusta for a vanilla slice. Along the way we stop in the little towns and galleries to look for something we’ve never seen before.

I’ve always loved talking directly to the makers and craftspeople, hearing about their businesses, their challenges, and what keeps them doing what they do. Some of my best ideas have come while winding through the karri forests, walking the Wadandi Track, or sitting on a café verandah thinking about how I could play a small part in helping these local businesses thrive. That's how Karri &. Coast was borne, but it isn’t about me, it’s about them.

Karri & Coast Gift Hampers was created to make it easier for all of us to share the stories of this region and support the families, makers and towns that make it so special.

It's the passion of these people that drives everyone at Karri & Coast, and when their businesses and towns thrive, we all get to keep enjoying this incredible corner of Western Australia that we turn to for holidays, long weekends, fresh air and a much-needed reset.
